STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed for Wii Review
Introduction
Ever imagined yourself as a Jedi fighting against the Empire with the Force? This is possible with STAR WARS The Force Unleashed Wii. This game gives you the ability to control the Force in a way that no other game has. It can be used to destroy objects, throw away enemies, and even manipulate the gravity. This game is a must-have if you love the Star Wars franchise and action-adventure video games.
Gameplay
One of the strongest aspects of Force Unleashed is its gameplay. It offers a simple, intuitive control system that allows you use the Force in many different ways. Although you can press buttons to slash and dash or throw objects, the real fun is when you use the Wii Remote for enhanced Force abilities. You can use the Nunchuk to lift an enemy in the air or grab him with the remote. You will also be challenged by boss battles that require you to use all of your skills to defeat your enemies. It is one the most enjoyable Star Wars games I have ever played.
Storyline
The game takes place between the events in the third and fourth Star Wars movies. The story revolves around Starkiller (Darth Vader’s secret apprentice). The story is cinematic with cut scenes playing before and after each mission. It’s fascinating to see how the story unfolds and how Starkiller’s character evolves throughout the game. You will also find Star Wars characters that make an appearance. This adds to the overall experience.
Graphics
The graphics are stunning. It is amazing how much attention was paid to the environment and characters of the game. The Force powers are enhanced by the use of particle effects. There are also various lighting effects throughout the game to enhance the atmosphere. It’s a beautiful game and the developers clearly put a lot of work into making it look great.
Sound Design
It is also notable for its sound design. John Williams’ Star Wars score is featured at various points throughout Star Wars: The Game. This immerses you into the Star Wars universe. The Force powers sound great and are very satisfying to use. Sam Witwer, an actor, provides the voices for the characters in the game.
Replay Value
The game’s story mode may be short, but there are many reasons to play it again. You can upgrade your character’s abilities through the game’s upgrade system. You can also find hidden items that will increase the replay value of the game. The game also features a Challenge mode, which allows you to replay sections of the game in order to unlock new abilities and earn points.
Multiplayer
It doesn’t have a multiplayer mode which is a shame. A cooperative mode allows two players to control the Jedi, but it is only available after you have completed the game.
Final Thought
STAR WARS The Force Unleashed Wii is an excellent action and Star Wars game. It has excellent gameplay, a cinematic storyline, great graphics and sound design, as well as decent replay value. It is a must-have game for the Wii’s library. It is also a fun game that anyone can enjoy. You are missing one of the most iconic Star Wars games.
